Richard Jouve is one of the most powerful sprinters on the cross-country circuit. His ability to accelerate makes him one of the most dangerous cross-country skiers on the finish line. He also has a formidable tactical sense that allows him to study his opponents and plan his races in a perfect way. Born in 1994, he has already collected several podiums in the World Cup, plus one at the World Championships Relay and above all the bronze medal in the team sprint in Peyongchang 2018, which he confesses has been an emotion hard to describe. He chose cross-country skiing because during his childhood, practicing alpine skiing he did not like all the breaks between one manche and another, and because of the super-active behavior he preferred a sport that made him stay in motion all the time. He also says he’s good at the kitchen, so we are waiting for an invitation to dinner!
