Known as << Momo >>, Maurice Manificat is one of the fastest French distance skiers of all times. Over the last decade, he has built one of the greatest Palmares in the history of French cross-country skiing, sometimes even surprising himself. Born in 1986, he now has all the experience required for big events and to fight for medals, whether individual or in the Relay. Maurice loves being with his teammates, and he’s convinced that great results can be achieved only from a great collective effort. During his free time, he loves doing “Bricolage” and spending time with his son. His favorite disciplines are undoubtedly the 30km Pursuit, 15km Free and of course the Relay, which made him bring 3 Olympic bronze medals in France and leaves the light on for the future to come!
Jessie Diggins has achieved what North American skiers were dreaming of for the last three decades. The skier from Afton, Minnesota has ticked almost all her bucket list: Olympic gold medalist, World Champion, Overall and Distance World Cup standing winner, Tour de Ski Winner… she has it all. When she’s showing sparkles on her cheeks at a race start, you know that nothing can stop her. Always smiling, dedicated, she is inspiring a full generation of young athletes who want to achieve their dream. She decided to write a book “Brave Enough” to share her experience with her community and beyond, helping people to understand the journey to come from a Midwest kid to a world class athlete. Going through her physical and psychological training, how she fought against eating disorders, she aims at giving confidence to the readers, letting them believe that they can do it, they are brave enough!
Born in 1993 and raised at the bottom of the Mont-Blanc, Clément Parisse is a mountain lover who turned to be one of the fastest cross-country skiers in the world! He is the archetype of a hard worker. In his career he reached third place in the World Cup Relay, two bronzes at the World Championships in Seefeld and Obertstdorf and of course the bronze medal at the Olympic Relay; now he’s working to repeat himself in individual races. Clément is a kind, calm and reserved person, but once on track everything changes: he enters in his comfort zone, and nothing can stop him. During the off-season, he is an avid climber and a self-made musician. He also loves travelling with friends, perhaps in unknow and wild places, to experience sports adventures in nature. He is also a chocolate lover, even better if it is dark!
